"Ideas are easy. Implementation is hard." Guy Kawasaki
I was looking for inspiration for today's post and found this gem. This quote struck a chord. It made me think about where I am right now in trying to start a business, gain clients, build my brand, get people talking about me, providing a service many others can and have been doing much longer than me and getting the client to choose me instead of them. I have quite a few ideas that I think can be successful, but no one to test them on or no finances to advertise them with.
I have ideas for sessions and clients.
I have ideas for products for clients.
I have ideas for styled sessions.
I have ideas for mini sessions.
I have a brand and reputation in mind that I want to build.
I know who I want my ideal client to be.
But, I am having a hard time implementing these things into my website or on social media or into actual sessions with people and not a lot of resources to advertise them with.
This is not a pity party for me. I just thought that this quote reached me on a level way down deep. I know I want to be successful. I am willing to put in the work to do what it takes. To go above and beyond to make my brand, my reputation the one people are RAVING about to their family, friends, co-workers, and anyone else who will listen. But I am going to work hard to not only come up with those successful ideas, but also to come up with ways of being able to implement the plans and ideas I do have, even if I don't have the typically resources to do that with.
I know I can do this. I will do this.
